Multi-Server Linux Environment
Provision several RHEL systems with consistent configuration, name resolution, storage layout, and administrative access.

Flagship work
Rather than completing only isolated exercises, students work toward realistic multi-server environments where Linux and Windows systems depend on each other. Identity lives in Active Directory. Applications and databases run on Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Logging, monitoring, backup, and automation keep the environment operable.
Flagship enterprise lab
Throughout the program, students progressively build, integrate, secure, automate, monitor, troubleshoot, and document a realistic multi-server enterprise environment. The final infrastructure combines Linux, Windows Server, networking, databases, automation, security, monitoring, logging, backup, and remote administration.
Provision several RHEL systems with consistent configuration, name resolution, storage layout, and administrative access.
Join Linux systems to a Windows domain so one identity works across the estate, then verify authentication end to end.
Stand up domain services with organizational units, groups, policy, and AD-integrated DNS.
Deploy PostgreSQL, configure roles and access, connect application servers, and validate backups by restoring them.
Host applications on Apache and in Podman containers with TLS, virtual hosts, and SELinux contexts intact.
Forward logs from every host into a single log server and use it to investigate incidents across systems.
Instrument services and hosts, set meaningful thresholds, and respond to alerts before users report problems.
Design and schedule backups for systems, configuration, and databases — then prove recovery works.
Convert manual build steps into idempotent playbooks and roles kept under version control.
Apply hardening baselines, audit the systems, remediate findings, and troubleshoot what the controls break.
Operate the environment you built through a queue of realistic failures and document each resolution.
